Two prominent names in Central Indiana real estate, Ryan Zickler and his father Lou Zickler, have joined forces effective September 1, 2002, as Zickler Associates, LLC.

The father and son team and will focus their services on retail property brokerage and development, as well as the brokerage of residential and mixed-use development land.

Ryan Zickler has spent the last nine years specializing in the sales and leasing of retail real estate.

His career experience includes affiliations with notable retail specialty firms such as the Linder Company and Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, as well as other well-known national and local real estate firms such as Paragon Property Management and Trammell Crow.

Previously, Ryan had been employed by the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis as a governmental affairs representative, having earned a degree in political science from Purdue University and accumulated graduate degree credits in the same field of study from Indiana University.

Lou Zickler has 30 years experience as a real estate broker in Indiana. He has owned Horizon Group, Inc., a real estate appraisal and consulting pratice, since 1981. Horizon Group will continue to exist and provide ongoing service to its appraisal and consulting clientele.

Lou Zickler is a past president of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS (MIBOR), and was honored as MIBOR REALTOR of the Year in 1994. He was named Indiana Commercial REALTOR of the Year in 2001 by the statewide Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS.
