Ryan E. Zickler, Zickler Associates, LLC, has announced the acquisition of a building site for a new 15,350 square foot Aldi Foods store in Shelbyville, Indiana. The new location is at the southwest corner of Range Road and Progress Road.

The 2.4-acre Aldi Foods site will be the initial phase of development for Pointe Plaza, a retail center planned for development by NorthPointe Group of Cincinnati, Ohio. NorthPointe Group plans an additional 8,600 square feet of retail space at Pointe Plaza, which benefits from its location adjacent to the new Super Wal-Mart center.

According to Ellen Mayleben, NorthPointe Group partner, “we are most pleased to have Aldi Foods as our flagship occupant for Pointe Plaza. Ryan Zickler and his team have worked hard to make sure this is the right location for their client, Aldi Foods, and Aldi’s presence at Pointe Plaza will, we believe, enhance our ability to attract quality tenants for the remaining retail space which we have planned for immediate development.”
